Boro are unseeded in the Southern Section of the draw

Stevenage could face Championship opposition in the first round of this season’s Capital One Cup.

Boro, who were knocked out by Everton in the second round of last season’s competition, are unseeded in the Southern Section of the cup draw, which will be announced at 10am next Tuesday (June 17).

The first round draw is seeded based on the final league positions of teams last 2013/14 season, and then split regionally into north and south.
