A 22-year-old man was arrested in Stevenage yesterday morning after a large amount of suspected class A drugs was seized – with a street value of approximately £2,000.
The man from Hemel Hempstead was stopped in Stevenage town centre and searched by officers from the Stevenage Operation Scorpion Team.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
