Stevenage and Northampton Town fans are in for a parking headache this weekend when the two sides meet at the Lamex Stadium.

Northampton have already sold 1,300 tickets for the game at Boro, but Stevenage have warned that there is limited parking availability this weekend due to a fun fair at Fairlands Valley opposite the stadium - the main car pack used by supporters.

Instead, the club says that fans can use the shuttle bus service from the town centre.

A statement from the club says: “With all surrounding retail parks now introducing match day parking restrictions, fans driving to the game are advised that they can park in any of the town centre short-stay car parks and catch the shuttle bus from Stevenage bus station (Stop K - outside Matalan) or railway station (stop N).

“For this Saturday’s game the first shuttle will be approximately two hours before kick-off and post-match services will operate until 6.30pm.”
