A pharmacy in Hitchin town centre has officially opened its doors to a modern approach to community health.
The revamped Lloyds Pharmacy on Bancroft has been transformed to deliver new enhanced services to people in the town for a range of conditions, with a particular emphasis on skin health and pain management.
Dr Jeremy Cox from the nearby Orford Lodge Surgery cut the ribbon which marked the reopening. He said: “It was nice to be asked. I have worked at our surgery next door for 26 years, and we have a good relationship with them.
“It’s a good indication of teamwork.”
Pharmacy manager Celia Payne added: “We’re excited by our transformation.”
