Thank you to everyone who has supported the fundraising efforts for the trees so far. To date some £2,337 has been raised, this is very encouraging and your support is appreciated. However they are still some way off from the target of £20,000, which will be need to see the project through to completion. As you will have noticed if you walk or drive past St Peter's you will see that three of the largest and most affected trees have already been felled, changing, and opening up the views of the Church. The need to continue with the efforts to raise more money is to be aided by an invitation to test your brainpower in a Big Quiz, on Friday, March 31, a date to put in your diary.
