On Saturday, January 21 the group held their first party for the Hitchin Helping Hands. They were given a tea and were entertained by our singers and the Bygrave Handbell Ringers. On Saturday, January 28 the group had 70 invited guests for tea and similar entertainment. They received a gift of a patio rose on leaving. Both parties were held in Church House. The Wives Group Quiz held in October 2005 raised £365 for the Garden House Hospice.
