Children in Years 1 and 2 will visit Milton Keynes Theatre tomorrow to see a performance of The Gruffalo, based on the much loved story of the same name. Thanks to the School Association to partly fund the visit. Years 3 and 4 children will visit the National Space Centre at Leicester. Class assemblies in October will be led by Moonstone, Crystal, Diamond and Emerald classes, parents and family members are welcome. The wonderful total of £1,500 was raised which will go towards a wide range of school activities and events. Special thanks are extended to the Co-op, Days Bakers and Kings Bakery who generously donated the ingredients for the very popular decorating biscuits and ice cream factory. Thanks to those who donated the lovely prizes for the grand draw which had sixteen prizes - the top prizes being won by Lily Sparkhall and Megan Pearson. Other lucky winners were Maggie Darlow (barrow of booze), Hannah Barrow (correctly guessed the name of the teddy bear - Felix) and Sam Powell, Millie Elliott and Bradley Lusty who made such imaginative jars for the jarbola.
