Stevenage and Spurs have agreed a deal that will keep left-back Connor Ogilvie at Boro for another month.

The 19-year-old’s initial loan spell at Stevenage was up after they were beaten 2-1 at Mansfield Town on Saturday, but the two clubs have now announced that Ogilvie will spend another month at the Lamex Stadium.

Ogilvie, who has made 15 appearances since joining Teddy Sheringham’s side in August, has been one of Boro’s most consistent performers this season, and it is thought that he would be better served playing regular first-team matches at Stevenage rather than academy football back at White Hart Lane.

With injuries to the likes of Steven Schumacher, Ben Kennedy, Dave McAllister, Jerome Okimo, Dean Wells, Dean Parrett and Chris Whelpdale, plus the news that six other players had seen their loan deals come to an end this week, this news will come as a boost for Boro ahead of their trip to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
