Bikers with a passion for riding will be meeting as a group in Arlesey later today.
A set of enthusiasts for Yamaha R1 sports bikes who call themselves DemR1boyz are set to meet at The White Horse pub in Arlesey High Street from lunchtime.
A spokesman said: “We started as a group of Yamaha R1 riders with a passion for sports bikes. Our name came about as that’s what we were known as – ‘DemR1boyz’.
“We’d meet up and go on ‘rideouts’ together. We decided to turn our passion into an organisation to help spread our vision.
“Our trademark centrepiece is the ‘bikewash’ which shows our love for bikes, and is like a ‘fun day’ with music, barbecues and competitions similar to the one we had in Hitchin earlier this summer.
“We always remember our roots and work with bikers’ and ex-bikers’ charities.”
