LOOKING forward to a blooming good 12 months is Letchworth and District Gardeners' Association.

It will be unveiling its plans for a very special year next week.

The association is celebrating its centenary and the meeting on Thursday, January 19, will be the chance to find out how the milestone will be marked.

Also at the meeting, outgoing president John Hoyland will hand over to his successor.

The evening will start at 7.30pm and be a social event, with cheese and wine and a quiz.

Admission is free and the venue is the Guide headquarters in Icknield Way, Letchworth GC.
