Shrimpers visit the Lamex Stadium this Saturday in League 2 clash
Southend United are on course to sell almost 1,000 tickets for their trip to Stevenage this weekend.
The Shrimpers had originally asked for 300 tickets for Saturday’s Sky Bet League 2 clash, with those tickets selling out by the first week in February.
United, managed by former Hull City boss Phil Brown, now expect to sell out the away end at Boro in a match featuring two sides battling for promotion to League 1.
When the two sides met earlier this season at Roots Hall, Southend won 2-0 in front of a crowd of 5,397.
