Sonisphere 2011 has something to live up to after this year’s festival at Knebworth was shortlisted for three gongs.
The rock event featuring headliners Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and Rammstein is up for Best Major Festival, Best Headline Performance and the coveted Best Toilets awards at the UK Festival Awards next month.
Organisers Kilimanjaro Live will battle it out with Glastonbury, Download, Isle of Wight, Reading, T in The Park, and V festivals at London’s 02 Arena on November 18.
