SONGS of Praise presenter Pam Rhodes hit the right note with a Comet country charity, as she opened its new store at the weekend.
The TV personality opened the Herts East RSPCA’s first charity shop in Churchyard, Hitchin on Saturday.
Dozens of supporters turned out to watch her cut the ribbon, including volunteers and members of the charity.
Pam Trussell, branch secretary, said: “We would like to thank all volunteers for their help to make the opening possible and to the public for their great support on the day. We hope this will continue.
“This shop will enable us to increase our animal welfare programme. Any donations are greatly welcome.”
