VOLUNTEERS are gearing up for a busy day helping out the community as part of Lend a Hand Day.

Three rotary clubs in Stevenage and Letchworth are offering to help the community out on Saturday, May 13, by doing common tasks for those who need it.

The clubs are working in conjunction with Age Concern and Carers in Herts, who will be distributing information and application forms. They are willing to undertake such tasks as house cleaning, simple DIY, inside window cleaning, writing letters, moving furniture and providing transport for shopping trips and much more.
