Coffee morning and cake sale on Easter Saturday that one group of weary walkers from Knebworth were able only to refresh themselves on low calorie cups of tea - the cakes were sold out by 11.30am. We will not have to go so far to put on the calories this Saturday, when the Tennis Club will be tempting us with their cake stall on St. Martin's Green from 10am - noon. They are perhaps also hoping to entice the oxymoronic Senior Juniors School Year 7 and above out of bed for a Taster tennis coaching session at the tennis courts in the Big Rec. from 11am - 12.30pm. Junior Juniors under School Year 7 get their opportunity to learn the tennis tricks the following day on Sunday from 10am - 12.30pm. Clearly familiar with the Jo Simson tennis skills levels, the Tennis Club have chosen to combine these Junior Juniors with the adults taster coaching session times. No booking needed, just turn up. Call Sally on 237663 if you'd like more details.
