There were smiles on the slope at the weekend as the Christmas Fair came to Baldock.
Baldock’s High Street was transformed into a winter wonderland with the standout attraction being the artificial ski slope which was taken on by young and old.
More than 20 festive stalls lined the street offering mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas gifts, while there were plenty of activities to occupy the kids such as fairground rides, bungee trampolining and face painting.
Baldock Town Partnership chairman James Lunnon said: “Having a ski slope was a first for Hertfordshire and certainly made it a weekend to remember.”
Jamie Serafi of Alive and Singing Rock and Pop Choir, who sang around the Christmas tree on Saturday, said: “Thank you to all lovely members of the Baldock public who attended my wonderful choir’s performance!”
