BORO boss Mark Stimson believes his side need to win six of their remaining seven games to reach the Conference play-offs.

Two defeats in the last week - a home reverse by Trophy finalists Kidderminster Harriers preceded by an away loss at Crawley Town - have left Boro marooned on 60 points and in eighth place.

Stimson said: "I see 78 points as being enough to get in the play-offs this season so we obviously need to win six of our remaining games."

It is now just three points from a possible 15 since Boro achieved the dream of reaching the FA Trophy final at Wembley.

Stimson admitted: "You try not to say the word, Wembley, but it seems to be in the back of some minds."

Boro host play-off rivals Morecambe on Saturday and visit Forest Green Rovers on Easter Monday.

Stimson added: "All the squad will be used over our two games this weekend."

Adam Miller misses the visit of Morecambe due to suspension, while striker Jamie Slabber remains on the treatment table.

P Boro officials are going to the revamped Wembley Stadium on Tuesday to discuss the ticketing arrangements for the final on Saturday, May 12.
