A signed Pelé football shirt, X Factor final tickets and a skiing holiday for 12 in Switzerland are among the items on offer in an online fundraising auction in aid of kitting out a Baldock school's new hall extension.

The online auction run by Hartsfield JMI School aims to raise £15,000 and is on until this Sunday – and other items up for grabs include signed shirts and photos from stars of boxing, football, rugby and more, Arsenal FC hospitality tickets and tickets for Little Mix at the 02.

The extended hall allows all 450 Hartsfield pupils to assemble in one place, and the money raised will go towards equipping it with an overhead projector and screen, lights and more.

Headteacher Phillippa Smith said: “We are so very grateful to have had such incredible prizes donated to us. The auction is open to everyone and we hope that many people will use the opportunity to bid on something special.

“With Christmas coming up, it’s the perfect time to be buying something spectacular while at the same time helping us to raise valuable funds for our school.”

More than £10,000 has already been pledged. Have a look at the prizes for yourself at hartsfieldonlineauction.co.uk.
