On Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2 some of the young people from the Shefford YNU youth group will fast for 24 hours to raise money which will go to Sierra Leone through Christian Aid. They are collecting loose change so look out your coins for this worthy cause. Coins will be welcome at St Michael's Church on Saturday, April 1 between 2.30 and 4.30pm. Some of the Shefford pubs are also supporting the group by kindly putting penny jars on the bar. The Somerfield store in Shefford has kindly given permission for some of the young people to help pack customers bags and offer, for £1 extra, a carry out to your car and trolley return service.For information or to sponsor one of the young people call Jenny on 01462 626101
