St Valentines Day was a very special day in the life of Father Bennie Noonan, when he was installed as Canon of the Diocese of Northampton. The priest had a contingent of over 20 people who travelled to Northampton for the ceremony. This was performed by the Bishop of Northampton, Peter Doyle and his Vicar General, Monsignor Sean Healy. The Canon was lavish in praise of the Shefford ladies who entertained his visitors at St Francis Church after the ceremony.
