The group bade farewell to Sally Petrie who is leaving the service after many years of help and service to carers and cared for in the area. She follows Anita Cook who also left a short time before. Chris Newbold, joint chairman of the North and Mid Beds Branch of the Alzheimers Society spoke on the history and new aims of the society. The meeting on Thursday, September 21 will have Pat Stock and Sarah Russell to explain the changes being made in merging North and Mid Beds, hopefully making services easier and wider in scope.
