The group met last week with Chris Newbold reporting a great success for the recent Sponsored walk on Bedford embankment which so far has raised £2,500 with more still coming in. Reorganisation has placed Bedfordshire with Cambridgeshire within the East Anglian Region. Groups for younger sufferers are being set up with added support and funds being made available since the cash flow crisis last spring. With carers busy caring there is a possibility that they could be covered to attend these meetings. Sarah Russell and Pat Stock provide advice and help for carers ring 01234 327380. The November meeting is at the Town Meeting Room, Northbridge Street at 11am. All carers will be welcome with help available.
