A fundraising event for a school in north-west India is being held in Letchworth GC on Wednesday evening.

It is being organised by Dr Ted Giblin, of Ridge Road, Letchworth GC, together with St Christopher School, to help the Druk White Lotus School, in Ladakh.

A charity screening of the film 'Three Idiots', the most successful Bollywood film ever, will be held on Wednesday, at 6.15pm at Broadway Cinema, Letchworth GC. Tickets are �8 and available from David's Bookshop and St Christopher School.

The school has strong ties to Druk White Lotus School and nearly 70 students and staff have visited the Ladakhi school over the last five years.

During their visits St Christopher staff has shared their skills with White Lotus staff and students, after intensive training back home, have been involved in teaching a range of subjects in an interactive way through games and activities.
