More than 120 scouts from across the UK took over the Shuttleworth Collection as they earned their RAF100 badge.
As part of the day, scouts took part in a number of activities, including making models of some of the former RAF aircraft at Old Warden, near Biggleswade.
Shuttleworth’s Ciara Harper said: “The Shuttleworth Collection is an educational charity, so this type of activity is what we enjoy.
“We were absolutely thrilled with the creativity and enthusiasm of the boys and girls who took part.”
The air researcher’s badge was launched late last year at RAF Cosford in Shropshire, to honour the Royal Air Force’s 100th anniversary – which was this year on April 1.
Sqn Ldr Paul Harrap was delighted with the day.
He said: “It was a truly inspirational day for all concerned, and what a great venue surrounded by iconic RAF aircraft to celebrate and remember past and inspire the future. I was absolutely delighted to celebrate the RAF’s centenary with the scouting organisation.”
