Young people in North Herts have been taking steps towards their dream careers thanks to an apprenticeship campaign which began last month.

Since the launch of the Love Apprenticeships scheme by Hart Learning & Development – the business-facing arm of North Hertfordshire College – more than 100 roles have been offered by firms in the area.

Stevenage MP Stephen McPartland presented Reids of Mayfair manager Ade Kesington with a thank you pack this week after the high-end property consultancy firm also signed up to the scheme to recruit their first ever apprentice.

Mr McPartland said: “It’s great that a business like Reids of Mayfair is recognising the benefits of investing in young people.

“I wish them, and whoever secures this fantastic opportunity, the best of luck.”
