A SCHOOL in Comet country is celebrating after achieving a national benchmark for peer mentoring.
Round Diamond School in Stevenage has achieved the Approved Provider Standard from the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation.
Peer Mentoring is a student-led programme which can be effective in supporting transition, attainment, attendance and behaviour, and can help address issues of bullying.
The Approved Provider Standard is a badge of competence and safe practice in mentoring.
