Darren Sarll slammed his side’s organisation after Boro conceded a 95th minute equaliser at home to Yeovil saying the result had put the club ‘three steps back’

Stevenage were leading 2-1 on Saturday thanks to Ben Kennedy’s brace following Ryan Hedges’ opener for Yeovil, only for Boro to allow a throw-in to be flicked on for Ben Whitfield who fired a deflected shot past Jamie Jones to earn his side a point.

The result leaves Sarll’s side 20th in the League Two table, with the Boro boss saying: “I think our organisation before the second goal was horrendous, which is what you get when you defend poorly.

“They have to concentrate for 94-and-a-half minutes a week. Nobody concentrates for me when I’m driving home at three in the morning having gone to watch Newport or Barnet. I have to fuel my own motivation and concentration.

“We couldn’t maximise that longevity of concentration and we’ve paid a big, big price for that.”
