Boro's Brazilian central defender Santos Gaia has agreed to draw the winning tickets in a special raffle this weekend.

Years ago a group of fans known as the Boro Barmy Army formed a football team and organised matches against other supporters' teams up and down the country.

Now a new generation have taken up the mantle and Borofans FC was formed.

In desperate need of a new kit, they have decided to raise the money by organising a raffle.

When the club heard about the fundraising, they were happy to respond with donations of a signed ball and signed shirt. Also available are signed goalkeeper's gloves from Alan Julian and Danny Potter.

The raffle will take place this Saturday in the Broadhall Suite after the semi-final second leg of the FA Trophy against Grays Athletic.

If you would like to become the proud owner of any of the items on offer or would like to make a donation towards the purchase of the kit, please buy a ticket for the Borofans raffle.
