Father Christmas and his band of helpers kicked off the festive season in Stevenage at the weekend.
Old St Nic landed his sleigh in the town on Saturday morning with his elves and a collection of fairy tale characters.
The merry bunch made their way through the town centre, stopping to talk to children and give out presents, before reaching Santa’s grotto in the Westgate Centre where the jolly old man will be until Christmas Eve.
