All railway lines have reopened after a person was hit and killed by a train near Sandy this afternoon.
The tragic incident happened at 3.20pm causing lines between Biggleswade and St Neots to be blocked, but Great Northern tweeted at 5.30pm to say all lines had reopened.
Emergency services declared the person dead at the scene. British Transport Police are working to locate their next of kin.
