DRIVERS faced a slow journey to work during rush hour around Stevenage this morning with slow moving traffic on the A1(M) southbound between junction 8 at Coreys Mill and junction 7 at the Novotel.
Traffic was also slow on the A602 Six Hills Way in Stevenage both ways at the junction with the B197 London Road. No accidents had been reported but the Highways Agency said the problems were caused by the heavy volume of traffic
