RUNNERS who took part in the British 10k London Run have raised money for enhance herts - a charity which supports Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
Fifteen runners from Comet country pounded the streets last month, on what will form part of the 2012 Olympic marathon route.
Fundraiser Suzanne Roynon said: "Our runners were supporting various causes within the hospital.
"We hope the final sponsorship total will top �2,000, which is incredible in the current financial climate. The runners had a fantastic time and several have already asked for a place next year!"
