RUNNERS, young and old, are expected to take their marks for the 23rd Sandy 10 and two-mile fun run on Sunday morning.

Promoted by Biggleswade Athletic Club and sponsored by Sweatshop, Jordans and Primary Networks all proceeds from the event will be distributed to local charities.

The Sandy 10 starts at 10.30am from Sandy Upper School in Engayne Avenue. Entry fee for those attached to a club is £7. For those not with a club the fee is £9. Entries on the day are £2 extra. The fun run is free.

All finishers of the 10-mile race will receive a T-shirt and a Jordans bar.

The route for the Sandy 10 takes runners out of Sandy towards Everton village then across Gamlingay Heath and returning back to Sandy along the same route.
