Spring flowers will be the focus of a guided walk at RSPB Lodge nature reserve, Sandy on Sunday. There will be a tour of the Sandy Warren heathland restoration area on Thursday, April 27 to see what has been happening over recent months. Both walks begin at 2pm from the shop - please call in at the shop or phone 01767 680541 to book your place(s). £2, plus reserve entrance fee for non-members of RSPB. Binoculars and telescopes experts will be at The Lodge to demonstrate equipment and give advice on Sunday from 10am to 4pm. If you are considering buying optical equipment, this free event is for you. The first of the dawn chorus events at The Lodge will be on Sunday April 30, followed by a cooked breakfast. Dawn really is the best time to hear woodland songsters, and well worth the early start! Please call in at the shop or phone 01767 680541 to book your place(s).
