The murder trial of Ian Stewart, accused of killing Royston author Helen Bailey, has been adjourned until tomorrow due to the ‘defendant being unwell’.
Mr Stewart is accused of smothering Ms Bailey and dumping her body in a cesspit beneath their home in Baldock Road.
Ms Bailey’s mother Eileen was due to give evidence today.
The trial is scheduled to resume at St Albans Crown Court tomorrow at 10am.
