Boro defender keeping options open before deciding on future
Mark Roberts has turned down the chance to join Swindon Town.
The Stevenage centre-back, whose contract at Boro has now expired, was offered a contract to join the Robins who are looking for a replacement for Darren Ward who may leave the club.
However, according to Swindon Advertiser, Roberts turned down the chance to join Boro’s League 1 rivals.
The Comet understands that Roberts remains in talks with both Stevenage and other clubs ahead of deciding where his future lies.
