THE A505 was closed for more than two hours last night (Sunday) following a collision between two cars.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the road between Lilley and Hitchin shortly before 7pm.
Duty ambulance operations manager Graham Darby, who attended the incident, said: "Due to the injury one man had sustained, the fire service was required to remove the roof of the vehicle, which allowed us more access and space to treat and stabilise the patient. He was then conveyed to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital with minor injuries.
