The road between Welwyn and Knebworth was closed this morning following an accident at Oaklands.
Police closed the road at The Clock roundabout near junction six of the A1 (M) following the accident shortly after 8am close to Canonsfield between two vehicles, one of which overturned.
The male driver of one of the vehicles suffered back injuries. The woman driver of the other car was unhurt.
