Police looking for man reported injured in Stevenage

Police are making further enquiries to help ensure the safety of a man who was reported injured in Stevenage last night.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 9.20pm yesterday (March 22) to help with an incident in Wigram Way.

It had been reported that a man in his 30s had been assaulted and sustained a head injury.

Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics, but despite searching the area thoroughly, they did not find anyone who was injured.

They are now making further enquiries today to try and identify the person or people involved and to ensure the injured person is safe.
