Remembrance Sunday services are taking place this weekend across Stevenage, North Herts, Mid-Beds and the surrounding villages. Here are the details of parades and events for Sunday, November 11:

? Arlesey: Assemble at Lymans Road at 2.30pm, to march to the war memorial at 2.40pm, for 3pm service.

? Ashwell: Meeting at the war memorial at 2.30pm followed by a service at 3pm at the Ashwell United Reformed Church on the High Street.

? Aston: Service at the war memorial at 10.45am followed by the act of remembrance service at 11am at the St Mary’s the Virgin Church, Broadwater Lane. Bennington Road, Broadwater Lane and Aston Lane will be closed and parking is on the Centre Field.

? Baldock: Parade leaves the White Lion pub, High Street, at 10.30am, service at 11am at the war memorial, followed by service at the United Reformed Church in Whitehorse Street.

? Benington: Service of Remembrance will start at 10.50am at the war memorial and continue in St Peter’s Church.

? Clifton: Act of Remembrance at 10.45am at the war memorial on Church Street followed by a service The All Saints Church, Rectory Close, Clifton.

? Graveley: Service to be held at St Mary’s Church, North Road at 10.45am.

? Great Wymondly: Service at the parish church at 9.30am.

? Henlow: Parade and service at 11am. The High Street will be closed to traffic from 10.30am to 11.30am.

? Hitchin: Royal British Legion will meet at the war memorial at St Mary’s Church at 11am to hold the two-minutes’ silence.

The parade will take place in the afternoon, leaving the drill hall in Bedford Road at 1.45pm, marching to Grammar School Walk to meet with British Legion members and VIPs to march to St Mary’s Church for a 2.30pm service.

? Kimpton: A march will leave the memorial hall at 10.15am. Wreathes will be laid before the procession heads to the parish church for the two-minutes silence at 11am.

? Knebworth: Service at 12.30pm at the war memorial, Old Knebworth.

? Letchworth: The Royal British Legion will hold a short service at the Letchworth war memorial in Station Place and a two-minute silence will follow at 11am.

A parade will then be led down Leys Avenue to Letchworth Free Church, where a civic Service of Remembrance will be held.

? Little Wymondley: Service at the parish church at 10.50am.

? Meppershall: Meeting at the Cenotaph at 10.50am in St Mary’s churchyard, Church Road, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 11am in the church.

? Offley: Service at St Mary Magdalene, King’s Walden Road, at 10.50am.

? Shefford: Parade and service at 11am. High Street will be closed from 10.30-11.30am.

? Shillington: Service of Remembrance will be held at Shillington Congregational Church, Church Street, Shillington at 10.00am, followed by the Act of Remembrance at the war memorial.

? St Ippolyts: Service at parish church at 10am.

? Stotfold: Convene at the Cemetery, Mill Lane, by 2.30pm, wreath laying at 2.45pm followed by parade up Queen Street, along the High Street and into Church Road to St Mary’s Church for the service at 3.30pm.

? Stevenage: Parade moves from the Primett Road car park (behind Waitrose) at 10.15am to the war memorial on the bowling green.

The Service of Remembrance will start at 10.40am.

? Walkern: Service at 10am at St Mary’s, Church End, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial at 11am.
