A DRIVER was lucky to avoid injury when the car he was driving had its windscreen smashed by a snowball thrown from a multi-storey car park.
The incident, which Herts Police have condemned as "reckless", happened on St George's Way in Stevenage at about 5pm on Friday.
The 29-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Vectra involved in the incident was left visibly shaken but unhurt.
