It wasn’t just a birthday that was cause for celebration when guests and supporters gathered at Hitchin’s Triangle Community Garden.

As well as marking its 15th birthday the community project based in Ransom’s Recreation Ground in Grove Road was showcasing its new meeting space, mosaic and pollinators garden, and the nearby forest area.

Chair of trustees Vicky Wyer said: “We’d like to thank everyone involved with Triangle Garden from its inception in 2000

“We’d also like to say a massive thanks to all involved with our projects for adults with learning difficulties.”

The project aims to bring people of all ages and abilities together, to enjoy the benefits of community gardening and strengthen their connection with the natural world.
