An award-winning Hitchin pub is continuing its Best of British beer festival today, featuring nearly 100 real ales, ciders and perries along with 18 fresh hopped beers from Kent.
The Half Moon on Queen Street kicked off the event with a curry night on Thursday evening. From 3pm today there will be live music – and on Sunday a family folk day from noon to 5pm.
Landlord Howard Phillips said: “We’ll have folk musicians playing, as well as Morris dancers, face painting, a bouncy castle and supervised garden games.
“All children’s activities are free – but parents are welcome to make a charity donation
“It also sees the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt which we will give a nod to!”
