Fans of live music need not look far this weekend, with the Potton Music Festival starting tonight, Friday.
The weekend, presented by the chamber musicians of the Marais Ensemble along with world-renowned guest string players, starts at 8pm at the Church of St John the Baptist in Cockayne Hatley, where there will be a wide range of mostly baroque music.
Tomorrow the venue is St Mary’s in Potton, with music by Ravel, Debussy and more from 7.30pm. From 10pm there will be a free late-night concert, Greeting and Farewells.
Finally, on Sunday fans should head to All Saints’ in Sutton for an hour-long programme starting at 11.30am. For more see pottonmusicfestival.com.
