A MAN has been arrested and is being questioned about a rape which happened in Stotfold 20 years ago.
An arrest was made in Scarborough yesterday (Sunday) following a violent sexual attack on a woman who was making her way home from a Stotfold church in October 1992.
The Beds, Herts and Cambs Major Crime Unit are dealing with the case, which has been under investigation by the cold case team for a number of years.
The man is currently in police custody at Greyfriars Police Station in Bedford.
