A tracker fitted in a car meant police were able to find it in Biggleswade yesterday morning – hours after it was stolen in Essex.
Police said the Range Rover Sport and handbag were stolen from an address off Winstanley Road in Saffron Walden at about 2.25am yesterday.
It was located later that morning in Biggleswade, with north Bedfordshire community police tweeting that this was “due to a fitted tracker”.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call Essex police on 101, quoting reference 42/47992/18.
