This dance group enjoy folk dances of all styles from many countries around the world and meet every Friday excluding Christmas and August in the St Michael's Parish Hall, Broadway, from 8 -10pm. They also really enjoy the music from all the different countries. Newcomers are always welcome and there are many dance activities beyond club nights on Fridays and they perform at various festivals around the country, as well as strutting their stuff in old folk's homes etc. Weekly subs are £1.30 with an annual subscription of £3. The 15th Century Fresco Cycle in Florence: Art historian Norman Coady investigates the style and meaning of this important age in Italian art, in an illustrated lecture to the North Hertfordshire Decorative and Fine Art Society (NHDAFAS), on Thursday, June 1, at the Plinston, Broadway.
