A group of Rainbows is looking for their pot of gold.

They are in desperate need of a new leader to help them continue with their club, because their current one, Charmaine Terry, leaves this coming July.

Charmaine has been involved with the Rainbows and Brownies since she was just seven and will be sad to move on.

But now the 17th Rainbows pack in Hitchin is looking for a replacement, otherwise they will be forced to close.

Many girls come from St Andrew's, Mary Exton, William Ransom and even out to St Ippolyts and Wymondley Schools.

They meet on Wednesdays between 3.30pm and 5pm and have fun making things, singing, dancing, raising money for charity and making new friends.

Charmaine said: "There are so many packs closing that in a few years we'll be left with none.

"I've really enjoyed doing it and I really don't want to see it close.

"We have children signed up on a waiting list to join us so there'll be a lot of very disappointed kids if it does have to close."

If you can spare a couple of hours a week and are available for the odd training course, call Charmaine on 01462 712011.
