Two Fearnhill School pupils, Jessica- Jane Maddams and Suzanne Tames were given a special task recently and carried it out superbly! They were asked to look after a new arrival - duck egg, the egg of Brian and Jeffery, who are the school's homing ducks. They had to do some egg-sitting and they protected the egg and nest until mother nature took its course. Well done, it is great to see youngsters appreciate the sanctuary of life for everyone - including the animals. They certainly did not duck the issue, never got in a flap, winged the task with distinction and helped bring John into the world. Blimey, Brian, Jeffery and now John - sounds like a duck's boy band!
