Members of the Vote Leave campaign, which is supported by Mayor of London Boris Johnson, will be setting up a stall outside Barclays Bank in the town centre at 11am.

The cross-party movement says it is trying to raise awareness of the benefits Britain can expect from voting ‘out’ in June’s referendum, and will be happy to answer questions and field comments from weekend shoppers. Leaflets will be available to explain the issues.

Stevenage’s MP Stephen McPartland has already given his support to the ‘no’ camp although Prime Minister David Cameron is urging the nation to vote to remain as part of Europe.
